Terms of use
This page is a working draft of the terms that will govern aiRef when early access opens. It has not yet passed legal review, and details marked as placeholders will be completed before it takes effect.
1. What aiRef is
aiRef is a camera-assisted scoring companion for court sports. It helps you set up a playing space, follow the game and keep the score, with replay and one-tap correction when a moment needs review. It is an assistant, not an official referee: the people playing stay in charge of the game and its calls.
2. Early access
During early access the product is changing quickly. Features may appear, change or be removed, availability may be interrupted, and results should be expected to improve over time. We will be clear inside the product about what is experimental.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe. You can start anonymously and link an email address or Google account later; keeping those details accurate helps us keep your match history yours.
4. Fair use
- Use aiRef only where you have the right to film the playing space and the consent of the people being filmed.
- Do not use aiRef to harass, surveil or target anyone.
- Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
5. Your content
Match records and clips you create belong to you. You give us the licence needed to store and process them so the product can work. Sharing is always your choice.
6. No warranty during early access
aiRef is provided “as is” during early access. Scores, calls and analytics are assistance, not guarantees, and should not be relied on where an official result matters.
7. Liability

8. Ending or changing the service
We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We may change these terms; if we do, we will date the change here and flag it in the product where it matters.
